Best Time to Call the UK from Nigeria
Nigeria uses UTC+1 all year, which matches UK clocks in summer and is one hour ahead of them in winter.
The time gap
From the last Sunday of October to the last Sunday of March, Nigeria is one hour ahead of the UK. During British Summer Time the two have the same clock time, so there is no gap to convert.
Calling windows
Because the gap is at most one hour, the working days overlap almost completely: from 09:00 to 17:00 in both countries, minus one hour on the Nigerian side in winter. In winter a 09:00 call from the UK is 10:00 in Nigeria.
Frequently asked questions
